Our Adventure at Build-a-Bear Workshop

This weekend my family and I took a mini vacation to Branson, Mo. We had SO much fun! I just adore Branson, there is SO much to do there and they seriously have something for everyone.

While we were there we shopped, went to Dixie Stampede {for the first time}, shopped, walked around Old Downtown Branson, shopped, went to my hubbies company Christmas party and....did I mention.....we shopped? We had a really good time.

We were able to visit one of our favorite stores while we were there.....Build-a-Bear Workshop.

A special! You know this made ME happy! We also had a coupon...of course!

This is ALWAYS the hardest part! Picking out what we are going to make.

Strawberries and Cream Instant Oatmeal | Recipe

I don't know about you but, we go through oatmeal like that is the only thing to eat on this planet! Seriously a TON! My youngest would eat it for every meal and snack....every day....if I let her. Yes, the little packs can be cheap (if you can find a coupon and get them on sale) but it still adds up. I used things I already had on hand so there was no extra cost to make this. FREE is ALWAYS good! I tried before to make little packets to keep on hand but that was a complete fail. I have since reworked the recipe and am happy with the results. I decided to just keep the oatmeal in a glass container this time and scoop out what we need, when we need it. Hey guys! I have some EXCITING news! Today I am posting over at Mom It Forward ! I have shared my Fiesta Chicken Tacos recipe, it is SO good! Go check it out! I also made a quesadilla with some of the mix last night and it was AMAZING! This is also a very frugal meal, the total cost for me was $2.67! Here is the breakdown: Leftover Chicken - Free Black Beans - $0.50 for 1 can Frozen Corn - $0.17 (it was on sale and I used coupons, it was $0.33/bag and I used half a bag) Tomatoes and Green Chilies - FREE (again, on sale and I had a coupon) Tortillas - $2 Total- $2.67! Now, if you had to buy all of that at regular price it still equals out to a very frugal meal. Enjoy!
