Ugh! I am so sick of the lack of willpower I have right now. As I shared a few weeks ago, I have 3 pesky pounds that I just can not get rid of. I haven't been trying THAT hard though either, in all honesty. I have gotten really bad about snacking between meals, I also have been slacking with portion control.
I know eating a fiber filled breakfast will help me feel fuller longer and this would help me stop snacking between meals. However, I have been so overwhelmingly busy lately that some days I don't get a chance to eat until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. That is NOT ok!
I have been reading up on a product called Full Core that is said to help control hunger. I was immediately drawn to this product because it has 40% of your daily fiber limit in 1 drink and helps with digestive health! For someone that does not get enough daily fiber, like me, that's awesome! It also has 15 vitamins and minerals and only 25 calories per can! Full Core naturally contains no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no sodium, no caffeine, no preservatives, no artificial flavors or colors and is soy and gluten free!
I headed to AKiN's Natural Food Store to pick up a pack of Full Core then headed home to give them a try. I was a bit hesitant to try it because I was not sure what it would taste like. I actually made my hubby try it first! lol He liked it and said it tasted kind of like a diet lemon lime soda. I eventually took a sip and, he was right! It did taste kind of like a diet lemon lime soda, but without the nasty aftertaste. I do wish Full Core came in other flavors, maybe a strawberry or a fruit punch, I am not sure how they would do that naturally though. I really think Full Core will help get me over this hurdle I am having such a hard time with. I will be buying another pack, or two soon and can't wait to share the results with you!
